Daily Update

So my work is pretty demanding today. No lunch break yet. How dare they. Today
they came up to me and asked if they could borrow me off of my current project for a
few house. Oh ya, the boss needs it in about 2 minutes. and there are 13 full
30x42 inch prints still waiting to print. My oh my.

After work I went home and 'Fought the battle of my life' for an hour or so,
strummed some practice power chords off the ol' Lyon Guitar, then decided to make
the rounds.

Hope you all had a wonderful valentines day. Mine was lovely. I just went over and
watched TV with some of the Fairburn girls. (I guess it was kind of like the
previous night) we watched American Idol and the news. The girls got mad after I
told them (at the end of the night) that I hadn't eaten yet. So then they insisted
I fix that, so I complied.

Rommate Jim still sick. I went to get some medicine for him, but didn't get home
till real late.

Renee's Running Countdown: I forgot it yesterday, but only 5 days left to think of
an excuse not to go running with me Renee. (If you need help thinking of any
reasons, I might be able to help remind you of a few things.)

I might have to miss running-night tonight. Jeff said they are showing Freedom
Writers at the Lot. But we'll see... I'll miss out on loads of exciting
comparisons. I might have to do something super disruptive at the Theater :) I was
going to hang out with the Jeff/Josh factor anyway, and free movies are always nice.
Other wise I'd just be nerding it up at my place.

Dad just sent me an article from the SL Trib:

hmmmmmm... Hmmmmmmmm...

I was 'forced' to eat at In N'Out again, due to lack of lunch break (Ta just went
over, and got me something as well.

I'm listening to Radio talk show currently.

the weather has cleared up. not so windy, no clouds. maybe warm, but I wouldn't
know. it just looks like it over the wall I have in front of me.

I guess it was two days ago now, but on the cover of USA Today, they featured an
article about Mit Romney being mormon and wanting to be President. Kind of funny.

Yesterday was kind of boring it looks like. Not much else. I hope tomorrow has
many more treasures waiting for us :) ,till then.

Daily Update

Well after the two free minutes I had to Click away on the keyboard yesterday, I was
put right back to work. I'm still a little bit bitter about working last night
till 10. I now know that if two or three people are working on one project it is
NOT worth it to cut down on time and ask them to help with one of the three coloring
files that you/or I may have. I would have been done by 7 or maybe even 8, but the
dear friendly help that I received had to be just a little off, so that kept me up
three more hours! I'm not as efficient at night. I thought that last time, more
people would have been a bigger help. I was wrong by that this time.

Last night I incurred an injury some how while sleeping. There is a two inch gash
in the inside of my right upper arm. Apparently it was bleeding pretty good for a
while. Due to the massive size of my biceps, and the minor contusion being on the
down slope of my mountainous muscles, I am unable to effectively wrap bandage tape
around it; it would fall off to easily with every movement I made. After reviewing
some securtiy tapes, I figure i was wounded when my alarm rang for the first time.
After it went off, I slowly woke and realized there was something pushing down on my
face. Was it a pillow or blanket or someone trying to smoother me? I wasnt' sure
so I just dug my left arm out from under me and grabbed and threw the object to the
side. As I did that I felt my right shoulder being pushed in the same direction. I
slowly figured that my shoulder was attached to the thrown object in question.
minutes later I cracked an eye open to see an arm laying next to me, don't worry, it
was still attached. Thinking nothing of it and still being tired I was back asleep
before I knew it. Maybe 30 min later I awoke again, more serious about getting up
this time, I cracked both my eyes to be presented with a gashed arm and dried
dripping blood. I thought to myself wow, what happened? then closed my eyes for
another 10-15 min. I was in no hurry to get up due to my late night at the office.
I finally felt guilty around 9:30 so then got up. I then analized my arm and
realized how much pain it was to cause me the rest of the day. I guess there was a
late night assaliant who I had to fend off with my bare hands. I wouldn't remember
the confrentation because of my cat like reflexes, innate spider scences, and fine
tuned fighting skills that will take over in the needed situation, even if my
cognitive mind still sleeps; much like the heart beating, or lungs breathing. In
either case the vice like grip of my hands is pretty damaging apparently. Either
situation seems pretty likely.

The night before I spent, of course, 'fighting the battle of my life' late into the
night. Its how I relax, you know, by killing {bad}people and monsters. I was in a
daze mostly; but what I remember is taking a contract from the Dark Brotherhood and
killing the retired captain of the gaurd. I also closed another Gate to Oblivion
(evil realm), then wandered the country side avoiding the imperial leigeions that
might catch me, and I paid Skreev'a to get rid of my bounty so I can go and wonder
around the Imperial City with out being arrested. Fun stuff.

Right Before that even, and right after I left work, jeff called asking if I was at
home. I wasn't but I was mometns away from leaving. I got dinner at Diddy Reese
(cookies). I picked jeff up and we went' over to my place, well, not exactly my
place, my bldg. he wanted to investigate the refridgerator for sale that Raquel just
posted on 'ward stuff'. We knocked pretty loudly, well, I did, and the doorbell and
we 'trick-or-treated' when she answered- Maggie answered. Its all good, cause I'm
the funny neighbor. Jeffs a talker thats for sure. I think he asked the same
questions 3 or 4 different times in 5 fifferent ways. then he wanted to know if
othe rstuff was being sold, so we wandered around the rest of their place too.
Turns out they have to be out this weekend! That sucks. I hope they get that place
up the street before , well, by tomorrow. I offered to help, but who knows if
they'll call. I have that effect on girls, you know, them not wanting to call me n'
all. :)

Renee Running Countdown: She Cancellded with only 4 days left! Just as i predicted!
She found something better to do. It's kindof funny casue I actually knew her
excuse only a day and a half before she did. Apparently Cheyney is having her
'Panty Pary' That night as well. Oh well, maybe 'Next Time'.

And that's about it. Hope I can find something to do this weekend thats
entertaining. If anything, I can always resort to going to seaworld and taking my
pants off, and then throwing kids into the shark tank, then I'll start a fire in
someone's kitchen. it's supposed to be 80 degrees soon, maybe I can go to the
beach, or just hang out around UCLA and just check out hot chicks, other than you my
readers of corse :)

Maybe I should call Someone to see if they're busy.

I had a Breakfast Burrito for lunch from Marvin's Diner. Mmmm I decided to change
it up so the lady there wouldn't always ask me if I want the usual.

I'm listening to Andrew Lloyd Webber right now. my Music is on shuffle, before was
Madonna and Bob Marley, next is The Jackson 5.

cheerio.

Daily Update

As I said before, the time leading up to my run were strenuous. I had cut out
carbonation, didn't eat to much, and didn't warm up like last time. And as an added
bounus I even stretched before hand as I 'un-tivo'd' a tv episode of Man Vs. Wild
where Bear travels thru africa. But anyway, Things went well. I wasn't as fast as
a springbok, but I was pushing the level of an Oryx. I was feeling good about it.
It wasn't that cold. Only windy. The sky was a midnight blue, stars and airplanes
scattered through-out; with the Cumulonimbus type clouds highlighted by the
reflected lights of the city lights. Early reports state that it had rained earlier
in the day, but I hadn't noticed. On the first leg I was feeling about 80%. I was
doing well until the middle of the second leg when a Husky started chasing me. It
was odd cause I didn't see any humans around, so I figured it was ferrel. As soon
as it got close to me I'd stop and ready my fists of fury, and feet of anger; ready
to attack if needed. It was just running around randomly. It went on, so I would
continue, but then it would circle back when I would run. I wasn't sure if it was
in a playful mood or if it was circling for the kill. But I wasn't about to become
a victim. Every time the dog got close I took my battle-stance and started growling
at it. Eventually I noticed people in their driveway a house of two ahead. Could
they be the owners who just let this disobedient animal run free? Well, I soon
heard them calling for 'Caesar'. Yes, caesar was the stupid dog who was attempting
to stalk/play with me. When I got close enough I started yelling at them to get
their stupid mut away from me. They responded by asking if I could help them by
cathcing it for them. Interesting idea, but I decided to tell them that I'd rather
kill and eat it before I was to help capture a vile disobedient creature as they
had. I then saw some little old elf-man jogging after Caesar. I crossed the
street, it followed, the Elf chased it, it ran away; I continued to run, it
followed. It indeed turned into a playful exchange for Caesar. So, far enough up
the street, after I had crossed back to the running side, Caesar was running tight
circles around me, and we had both left the Elf in the dust, and I was getting
annoyed. I just stopped and told it to sit(really loudly). Of corse it didn't want
to listen, it hadn't been trained to. My spider senses told me that Elf was coming
close and that meant Caesar would run away soon, But by me yelling at it, it at
least slowed down and wanted a pat. so I siezed the moment and decided to help the
little Hobbitons(as in Hobbits). It was going to lick my new shoes so I snatched
its up by the fat of the neck, much like a cat would do, and held it up so it could
only dance on its hind legs. I did so until Froto got there with its leash like
device. Froto was clueless how to train dogs and was barley thankful that I didn't
run off with his mut up to the busy street of San Vicente. (if that would have
happened, I would have zig-zaged across the street like qubert or frogger. consider
it an experiment to see if it would have followed.) It was a nice little game of
'cat-and-mouses' but it was I who came out victious. Toward the end of the race I
debated going for a second lap, which I felt good about if I had decided to proceed,
but I had already gotten a late start that night anyway, so I decided to throw in
the towel, and test my luck, so I started calling people to watch tv with.

I needed batteries for my guitar tuner so I decided to got to the store/jeff's
place. On the way off of my street I decided to call KY and bring her a long
awaited CD of pics from her New Years Eve Party 2007. As she was checking to see if
the CD worked I recieved a call from someone who I had called looking for TV
watching locations :).

So I went over there. Originally I was just going to borrow a cd from B, but I
ended up watching TV with K for a while. It was Lovely. (Thats all I have to say
about that :)

While at Jessica's I called Becca's phone to play her phone message for the girls
there, and she picked up and was pissed that I called a few times in the middle of
the night on Sunday. Ooops.

Yesteday at work Ta noticed the cool computer wallpaper I had on my computer. It
was an enlarged flower with lots of color. He was admiring it and exclaimed " how
feminine". I was super-suprised/bewildered, and immediatly decided to change it.
And I told him he wasn't allowed to leave until he saw me change it. I looked up
large pictures of food, but that wasn't manly enought. then I looked up Rock N
Roll. I found the perfect un-feminine replacement: James Hetfield of Metallica
jamming on his 'diamond traction' style Gibson Explorer Guitar. It was going to be
that or power tools. Nothing more manly than that, right.

I'm pretty pissed right now at Justin timberlake for stealing my girlfriend, Scarlet.

Daily Update

Yesterday as I was wrapping up my 'updates', my drafting program freaked out and
decided to erase stuff for me, that I didn't want erased. I had Chokchai come over
and help me fix some of it. one of the layers I was working on went 'bad', so we
had to delete it and redo all of it. I'm almost done doing that catch up work.

On the way home from work I stopped by the Westwood Music store to get replacement
guitar strings. They were a lot more expensive than I thought, but whatever, right.
I honestly think the guy who helped me was Keanu Reeves. I'm pretty sure of it.
Then I went home, strung my big guitar, then went to Family Home Evening.

So at FHE, Carrie talked about what stuff there is to do in LA. Most of it was for
the person who wants/cares about celebrities. Oh ya, I don't. I think Jessica's
list was a more complete thing for where to eat, and the stuff to do list was more
about what Carrie likes to do. :( [boring]. but anyway...

After that I went over to Jeff's. I walked in the door, then knocked, as usual, but
I was blown away by the smell of ...ASS! It was a mixture of Strong Soapy cleaning
product, old musky cigarette trays, vinegar, dirt, dirty clothes, campfire, bad
aftershave, Cat litter, Animal dander, Baking soda, and other light caustic soda
hints. I asked if jeff was going for another degree(#5), namely chemistry. turns
out jeff was just cleaning the smoke ridden refridgerator. (note to self, don't eat
anything out of their fridge for a while, unless in sealed container.) We then went
to Jack In The Box for dinner, ordered from some mongaloidish chick who i think
maybe could have been a crack baby(past, present, and probably future).

I went home and watched Man Vs. Wild. it was Tivo'd. He went to Hawaii to trek
over lava fields.

Jim (roomate, not 3rd person 'me') is sick again. He gets sick a lot. This time its
pretty bad though.

I'm listening to Pennywise right now.

I'm growing old of my current Yodeling cd, I'm going to have to restalk/increase my
collection this weekend, cause right now, I just cant get enough.

Daily Update

sun dinner- spaghetti, forgot to invite two girls,
after party -evan complainie pants,

I promptly left work late on Friday. Julianne kept asking me questions about using
Illustrator, she doesn't really know how to use it, and she is taking over the
project that I was doing in the last few days. At 7 there was 'dream-date hangout
activity'. Was it to be weird, or fun? I went with less than positive
expectations. As soon as I was sure it wasn't going to 'work out' I just turn into
the 'Ultra-funny guy'. That always provides for entertainment. Kind of like when I
splash barbecue sauce on chicks, right Joe. I mean if anything, I'd have great
stories afterwards if it didn't work out, right? I go over to Ryan's house, so make
fun of them as they were getting ready. We stayed long enough to be considered
'Fashionably late', then we went' to the church. The organizers made name tags for
everyone by putting a 'pop-culture' name on a name tag. (ie Tarzan, Aladdin, Peter
pan, George Bush, Joe DiMaggio, and even Peanut butter. they were thus supposed to
find their pair; Jane, Princess Jasmine, Wendy, Laura Bush, Marylin Monroe, and
Jam). My name was Darin Stevens. Ya ya, I didn't know either. Luckily a bunch of
TV nerds were. I was looking for Samantha Stevens (Bewitched). But instead of
looking i just went up to all the people I already knew. eventually Adam Bentley
found my group and girl for me, namely cause he was to be a part of it. I think we
formed a splinter group, cause Jeff came with as well, then he called Ryan and they
came with as well. So there were 8 of us. We went to a quaint little I-tallian
place in Santa Monica. It was really nice. We had a 30 minute wait, and then we
ate, and just chatted it up for an hour or so till 10. Then we went back to the
church where we just did the wrap-up talk, treats for desert, then that was it. so
the girl I was set up was really cool, so were the other chicks. Plewe and Bianca
were the only ones off in their own little world at the end of the table, but i'm
sure that was nice for them. I think he was trying to work his magic w/o the help
of others. So backing up, to the beginning of the night. I mentioned this to one
other person, but this chick was really cool, fun, interesting, cute, BUT ther was
one HUGE hold up. Upon greeting her for the first time (i hope no one else noticed
my inner reaction) Her name was Tiffany!

On the way out of the 'event' Jeff an I and a few others were talking to jessica and
renee for a while. Kind of like a 'Post-game' show. Evan then showed us how to
give Renee a perverted hug ('Closing the Gap' so to speak). (Joe only= what I mean
by this, just think of what you were doing to people on the trains in europe.
except instead of being on a train, you're giving a hug. The word you would best
identify with this is 'frottage').

We had a wrap up event at Ryan's place. Watched TV, discussed the evening, and then
that was it.

Then the most unpleasant thing that could happen on a Saturday morning, I had to get
up for a chruch thing. What the crap! Who's the Einstein who decided on 8am?! The
rest of our church world watched it at 5pm or something like that. I was kind of
annoyed. Renee promised donuts, but because I slept in my church clothes in
expectation of wanting to sleep as much as possible, and because of girls taking
their sweet time getting ready I got the donuts, and then we picked up two other
ladies on the way to the stake center. The highlight of the morning was when we
rolled up next to ryan's car at the freeway entrance, they didn't see us at first,
and I started throwing donuts at their car. priceless. They were jealous cause I
was rollin with the ladies :)

Ryan talked me into playing basketball with them in the afternoon. They need at
least one guy who can be 'the enforcer'. The other team had a guy who looked like
Tony Soprano.

Other than that I fought the 'battle of my life' on Saturday, before going over to
Jeff's. Some of the Guys watched a movie and just hung out.

Just by chance I spoke to two of my lawyer friends about 'Project Call Me'. I ran
into them at target as I was buying my guitar. They assured me they'd honor any
attorny/client privelage that I shared, and not tell a soul, but I don't think they
were ready for the words that I shared with them. I was both sinscere and angry.
Upon entering the store, I had just gotten off of the phone with my brother, and was
pondering certain possible actions that a silent assassin might take against a quite
deserving bitter soul.

Before church I was jammin on my guitar and I broke one of the strings. Apparently
it wasn't ready for a full Metal Jam that was gracing it with.

After church I told the guys to come over for spaghetti if they wanted, just before
we were to go over to The Fairburn Girls' brownie eating shindig. It was yummy,
except I forgot what happens when Jeff and Evan are together, loud arguemnts and
unwavering opinions. Our discussion went' from Sex to Religion to Politics. The
three things I didn't want to hear about. REally annoying. Evan also did a recap
on Pervie hugs. I wasn't planning on making it a big thing, but I later did realize
that there are a few more people (wink wink)that I should start inviting over more,
(if you know what I mean). I thought they would be getting ready for their party,
but no, my mistake.

Then after Renee walked out, the rest of us went over to Bethany's thing. I'll be
honest, the brownies were lacking. Mediocre. The only seller was that they had
pink frosting. I brought sugar cookies and made frosting, and made a mess while
doing it. It was fun. A bunch of people came over. I it was a little hecktic for
a while. after a little bit I just went back to kristens room and went thru some of
her picture albums while she was doing something else. Then eventually a bunch more
people came back. and the party transfered to her room. We watched an episode of
Malcome in the middle. the it was late so we left.

Now, this next part gets kind of weird. I was talking about 'stuff' in front of my
bldg for a while with jeff and josh, when I may have suggested something outloud
that I may not have wanted to slip. No, not swear words. Those don't really matter
to me; it was someone's name. oh boy. well, not the name, but a strong suggestion,
so then they started asking direct questions that I could only giggle to. so we
then had to talk about that for another long while. then the ultamadiums started
coming, so then I had to leave. So we'll see now. I think I have their consent
though, it seemed like it, so that was good. but thats a whole nother long story.

I played Becca's voice mail message for a bunch of people. It got great reviews.

I just got done listening to MXPX, now I'm hearing Christina Aguilera.

Ut oh, my computer is freaking out, I better go.
